Tressiah
Tressiah's brilliance gives birth to a new genre of music "African-Italian Fusion" with traditional Italian sounds & African rhythms blended in modern pop, hip-hop, latin. Tressiah was born in Toronto, Canada to Italian parents and found love for music while singing since the age of eight in a Church Choir. In 1999 after successfully graduating from The Ontario Conservatory of Music Tressiah is the singer, songwriter, and producer of all her music, releasing her first album in 2006.
Tressiah created a band and began touring and performing on stage. While living in Italy, Tressiah was inspired by the African cultures in Italy & the Italian colonies in East Africa and began to write & produce her first album. In 2006, Tressiah's self-titled 12 track CD of African-Italian fusion unveils traditional sounds from Italy & rich rhythms of Africa. The re-mix "What's your name" & "Speak da truth" were played on The Chris Sheppard 102.5 fm radio show in Toronto.
